Medieval Days
Medieval Historical Re-enactment Days
The Medieval Historical Re-enactment Days are a faithful and accurate reproduction of the customs and daily life of a specific period. Specifically, we focus on the period between 1350 and 1360, in the middle of the 14th century.
The central theme of these days is the rebellions between Peter I ‘The Cruel’ and Henry II of Castile over the possession of Almodóvar Castle. Among the activities that can be enjoyed during the weekend are falconry, music concerts, castle assaults, medieval dances, battles…
Enjoy an unbeatable atmosphere with your family that will take you back in time. Soldiers on guard, spinners, washerwomen, shepherds and their animals, friars, beggars, jesters, scribes, cooks and tavern keepers, ladies and knights… these are just some of the inhabitants you will meet in our fortress.
Dance, eat, drink and enjoy. It’s history come alive!
- The activity runs from 10:00 to 20:00 (Sundays until 19:00) and includes a tasting of the medieval drink ‘Cuerva’
- IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO BRING IN FOOD FROM OUTSIDE, NOR PETS. THE BAND DISCOUNT DOES NOT APPLY TO THIS ACTIVITY
