Medieval lunch

Medieval lunch

Attend a banquet worthy of King Peter I. Eating and having fun is the goal. If you don’t enjoy yourself while eating, the dungeon awaits you.

Once upon a time, there was a king named Peter I who lived in a castle in the lands of the Kingdom of Almodóvar. One day, Peter I, who was known as “The Cruel”, decided to prepare a banquet to have some fun between wars.

He ordered that people from different parts of the world come to this meal, and he ordered that everyone had to eat and enjoy themselves. Anyone who did not eat or have a good time would be sent to the dungeons of the impressive Almodóvar Castle.

Then King Peter I said:

“I, His Majesty King Pedro I, by the power vested in me by the Crown, hereby declare the Royal Banquet season open. People from all kingdoms may attend, but must request an audience in advance to be present at Almodóvar Castle at noon on the appointed day. When I give the order, part of my Court will show you to your seats. You will eat and drink the rich delicacies that my cooks have prepared, knowing as they do my culinary tastes. We will eat according to the rules of the Middle Ages, and anyone who breaks them or is dissatisfied will be sent to the dungeons of this, my Castle, and there they will remain imprisoned forever and ever.”
